This program is designed for owners who want complete on-leash control of their dog. The commands taught in the Basic Program are not only commands you can use in your everyday life, but the process in which your dog learns these commands truly sets a strong foundation for learning, confidence-building, and restraint. Your dog will learn to remain obedient and hold commands with varied forms of distractions, such as other dogs, cats, toys, people/children, exciting smells, the doorbell/knocking, working outdoors, in public settings, and more. Ultimately, this program is the foundation that must be achieved before moving into advanced (off-leash) obedience. The obedience achieved in this program will provide a fantastic tool and opportunity for working through nearly every behavior issue that can present itself.
- Leather leash

- Commands: Heel with an automatic Sit, Sit(stay) and Down(stay) from LEFT side, Sit(stay) and Down(stay) from FRONT, Sit and Down while in MOTION, and Come with an automatic Sit
- Approximately 7 days of boarding
- 60+ minute Go Home Lesson
- Moderate to high levels of distraction proofing (on-leash)
- Hand signals for all commands
